Run-in with the law
Every man's memory is his private literature. - Aldous Huxley
My brother was escorted home once by a police officer. He wasn't formally charged with anything, but could have been. The look on my parents' faces was telling of their disappointment. I feel as though my parents still blame my brother, but it's not all his fault. I can't help but wonder if he's still sick inside.

One time I ran a yellow light that turned red on me as I just stepped through. Unlucky for me there was a cop sitting at the light in the other direction. He turned on his lights but couldn't move because of the car in front of him. I knew I only had several seconds before the light changed again so I quickly made a right turn onto another street and pulled into a plaza and went into a nearby store. I was late for work but at least didn't get a ticket.
